Description

Acting without a script? That’s Improv! This class teaches basic to intermediate improvisational skills, as well as perfecting students’ abilities to think on their feet! Students will learn how to create a scene, character, and conflict in a matter of seconds as they master the rules of improvisational acting. Upon completion of this course, students will have experience in the following areas:
  • The basic tenets of Improv
  • Thinking creatively and quickly as a team
  • Effectively initiating and navigating the necessary steps involved in creating an Improv scene

Staci Bonura

Staci has had a love for the stage since she was 3 years old! Starting as a classically trained dancer she quickly moved into her love of musical theater, performing with Theater Under the Stars through high school. She then went on to further her education at Sam Houston State University where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts. She is currently on the roster of CSz Austin, home of ComedySportz, Austin’s longest running improv show. She is excited to share her knowledge and passion with her students!
