Description

This class is for students who desire to learn the various aspects of acting for film and what knowledge is needed for a career in this industry, or just for fun! Students in this class will learn and practice the differences between acting for stage versus acting for film. This class will cover commercials, industrial, films, and TV work. Class will explore the various avenues to getting jobs (i.e., head shots, resumes, getting an agent, etc.)

Hi, Ya'll! I am Ashley Scherer. I have been acting since I was 8 years old. I studied acting in New York at the New York Conservatory and the New York Film Academy. I was formerly a student with CYT Houston and performed in their shows "Guys and Dolls" and "Little Mermaid". I have also taken improv, acting, and dance classes with CYT. I am looking forward to meeting you and exploring our love for the arts.
