Description

Want to be on stage, but need to learn how to act? Then this class is for you!  Come join us as we learn the basics of acting through games, activities, scenes and monologues! Students will leave this class with a monologue that is right for them, understand how to connect with their character and what to do when they walk in the room for their audition. This course with culminate with mock auditions held in front of a peer panel!

Jeanette G Junco

Jeanette G Junco is a multilingual Spanish/Mexican actress born in Mexico City. Her love for dance especially flamenco began a path of artistic exploration for her. She studied theater in the US at Palo Alto College and continued her theater education graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Communications/Arts degree from UTSA. She later moved to Cork, Ireland where she continued her acting studies. While living in Ireland, she participated in theater productions and got her start working on two short films. She now lives in Austin where she completed an acting conservatory program and is now a working actress who has been able to book several lead and supporting roles. She is a new acting teacher to CYT and is very excited to be part of the team!
