Description

Want to be in a show but can’t be in the main stage musical this session? Love acting and want to be part of a straight play? Then this class is for you! Come join us as we produce this shortened version of “A Christmas Carol.”

All students in this class will be cast in a role in this 40-minute play, and each week we will work on character building and blocking out the story. Some students may play multiple roles depending on class size. No roles will be doubled. Students will audition for roles the first night of class. (More info to follow.)

If this is your first CYT class and/or first theater experience, we recommend you take one of our foundational classes - as this class is a "rehearse for the play"  class and will not provide the basics your new student will need.

This class is capped at 20 due to the roles available. Register early!

This show will be presented on Sunday early evening, November 9 at Hope Chapel.

This show will have a minimal set and students will be responsible for creating/finding their own costuming, with CYT providing embellishments.
