Description

Want to be in a show but can’t commit to every Saturday? Want to be in a show for younger students and have the opportunity for a larger role? Then this “mini show” in a class is just for you! This is a 30-minute show with 16 roles available plus chorus. This class is a good introduction to CYT for a new student before committing to a main stage show, or students who are unable to commit to, or want a break from the main stage production.

(This class will be capped at 30.)

*Frozen, Kids”  is not a main stage production and will be presented as a CYT lite show with minimal set on Sunday, November 8th at Hope Chapel . Show times will be 4:00 and 5:30pm. Call Time at 3:00.

Students enrolled in this class must choose one of the song cuts on the links in the welcome letter and submit their video performing that side no later than Thursday. August 27th.  Students who do not turn in their video by this date will automatically be placed in the chorus. Videos must be students singing with the no vocals track.

In addition to the vocal audition, students must learn the dance in the link in the confirmation email with their vocal audition on the 27th. This is only to gauge their skill level and see who might be ready for a featured dancing role. All students will dance in the show regardless of their skill.

Casting will be done by class instructors/directors prior to the first class.

Students must choose a song cut and side found on the links that are sent out once registered in the welcome email.  Audition tracks and video audition upload information is included in the class confirmation email.

*Please read the audition tips page on our website to help you prepare.
